When someone is a Christian they are not constantly asked their position on the holocaust, the transatlantic slave trade, the extermination of Native Americans or any of the thousands of atrocities committed by Christians. So why do Muslims get asked about terrorism and Jews about Israel and are grouped in with specific bad people while Christians are not required to explain themselves.

probably because unlike Muslims, Christians either #1. didn’t commit these atrocities (see: Hitler was an atheist who hated religion) or #2. did not do so in the name of their faith, UNLIKE Muslims in groups such as ISIS. 0/10 try harder heathens.

And the transatlantic slave trade was in the most part done by the Barbary slave traders and pirates, the same people we ended up creating a Navy to fight a war with after many American ships were plundered and the passengers became slaves in the very same system, and unlike American slaves were either forced to convert to Islam and still be a slave, or stay a slave and be worked to death.

How is that different from slavery in the us colonies? Slaves in the us were also forced to convert to christianity and many were worked to Death.

Don’t get me wrong, american slaves were worked in shitty conditions in the sun and fields, but at the same time they didn’t have a high death rate. There is a difference of using people as slaves and servants, and those who work most of their slaves to death, much like slavery in the Congo was treated where deaths were meaningless when you can just capture more fresh slaves to work to death. And even then, in the purchase of American slaves, many of the hands that went through purchasing them were african, jewish, and muslim who sold them to America.

Homeless people are human beings with immense value.  They are members of our families, communities, neighborhoods, cities, and, for a number of people reading this, they are themselves (or have been).

The fact that homeless people do not have housing is a wrong done against them, not a sign they did something wrong.  To then try and ban them from public spaces and existing in public (including doing things we all have to do, like sleep or eat), is yet another grievous wrong.

An attack on homeless people is not “protecting the community”, it is an attack on the community.  Homeless people aren’t my enemy, those who would ban them from things like sleeping in public are my enemy.

If you don’t understand how builders work on buildings does that mean you’re baffled by a scaffold?
